Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team and drive excellence in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system installations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead installation projects, mentor junior team members, and ensure top-quality service for our clients. As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will leverage your mechanical knowledge, construction expertise, and field service experience to deliver efficient, reliable HVAC solutions that meet the highest standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining safety protocols, adhering to schematics and HVAC design specifications, and ensuring customer satisfaction on every project.

Responsibilities

Lead the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ammonia refrigeration equipment.
Interpret and follow detailed schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and system performance.
Supervise and coordinate field service activities, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards.
Conduct equipment repair, maintenance tasks, welding, and plumbing work as needed to support installation processes.
Utilize technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and testing to verify system integrity.
Train and mentor junior installers on proper installation techniques, safety procedures, and technical skills.
Manage property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation of installation procedures, service reports, and equipment records for quality assurance.

Experience

Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation or service technician roles with a strong mechanical background.
Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration, and plumbing fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with equipment repair, appliance repair, boiler operation, welding techniques, and property maintenance.
Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems and mechanical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
Field service experience working directly with clients in diverse environments; ability to adapt quickly to different job sites.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers preferred.
Additional skills such as welding certification or mechanic experience are advantageous for supporting complex installations or repairs.
